Basement Waterproofing Surrey
Introduction
Consero Homes contracted MacLennan to work with their Architect on the design of the waterproofing of this large property in Weybridge, Surrey. MacLennan have worked with Consero Homes on several projects, and we were glad to offer design expertise.
Methodology
A design was proposed that incorporated an external waterproofing system (Grace Preprufe) and internal Cavity Drain System (Newton 508) and a deck waterproofing system (Grace Silcor) for the Terrace area. The First part of the project was to lay the Preprufe before the basement floor slab was poured. Bituthene was then installed to the walls over B2 primer. The Newton Cavity Drain System was then installed to the inside of the structure. Finally the Terrace Waterproofing was carried out using Grace Silcor 900S
Result
All works carried out by Maclennan Waterproofing were completed on time and inside budget. Relevant guarantees were put in place.
