Grade 2 Building Renovation

cavendish

We’re thrilled to announce our involvement in the redevelopment of a Grade 2 listed old bank building into a vibrant restaurant and music venue in London. The basement will feature a bar, lounge, and dancefloor. To maximize usable space, the client has opened up the basement areas and lowered the floors in the vaulted sections and corridors, creating service voids for plant and equipment.

@MacLennan have been specified by a returning client to install our comprehensive cavity drain system throughout the entire basement and its six vaults. The final result is set to be stunning. Stay tuned for more updates!

Chaple Renovation

Chaple Rennovation

MacLennan Waterproofing have been entrusted with designing, supplying, and installing a bespoke damp proofing solution for a stunning chapel renovation in Wiltshire. With our extensive expertise in historic buildings, we guarantee that this beautiful structure will remain dry and protected from damp.

In Hampshire, Wiltshire, and Dorset, many traditional buildings were constructed using materials like cob, stone, flint, and brick. For these structures, a chemical damp proof course is unsuitable. If you suspect damp issues, it’s crucial to consult a qualified surveyor experienced in traditional buildings to receive the best advice for your project.

At MacLennan, we specialise in damp proofing and work closely with architects, engineers, building surveyors, and contractors to address damp and decay in building projects.

It’s been a while since we updated you on our #recycling mission, but rest assured, our efforts continue. Our dedicated onsite technicians fill these bags with off-cuts of cavity membrane and plastic tubs, which are then sent back to be reused within the construction industry.

In collaboration with @NewtonWaterproofing, we’re proud to contribute to environmental sustainability and to be part of this unique scheme, the only one of its kind in the UK waterproofing industry.

Deck Waterproofing process

Deck process

Acting on a recommendation, our client entrusted us with the task of designing, supplying, and installing a comprehensive ???????????????????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????? for their newbuild basement. This basement is set to house a garage with a car turntable, a swimming pool, a cinema, and a gym. ????

The garage’s design extends beyond the property’s footprint above, resulting in a ???????????????? ????????????????/???????????????????????? ????????????????. Our specialist ???????????????????? ???????????????????????? waterproofing is required here to prevent any water ingress. ????

The process began with the preparation of the deck surface, followed by the application of a primer. Next, we applied our PolyM liquid and finally laid a protective membrane on top to prevent any damage to the PolyM layer below. The deck area is now primed for the client to add their personal touch, be it a patio, grass, or decking. It's going to look fantastic when all complete. ????
